Waleema ceremony of tennis star Aisam ul Haq Qureshi and Faha Akmal Makhoom took place at Model Town Sports Club, here on Sunday.
Mr and Mrs. Aisam arrived in a decorated silver Mercedes with 'Just Married' written on it.
When asked about his marriage, Aisam said " This is beginning of a new match for me and I am very excited about it."
Faha Akmal Makhdoom is a British-based Pakistani who is presently working with Pakistan High Commission in UK.
Various personalities from all walks were present at the occasion. It is pertinent to mention that Aisam's former double's partner, Rohan Bopanna, has also flown in from India to attend the wedding.
More than 2000 guests attended the ceremony.
Aisam and Faha will be celebrating their honeymoon in Australia.
